Education
Teaching & Facilitation
Creating engaging learning environments where complex ideas become accessible, relevant and applicable is important to me.
My teaching combines academic theory with discussion, practical examples and industry context to help students build confidence in their own understanding.

Programme Leadership • Curriculum Development • Teaching • Student Development
From working in the industry to helping others enter it.
After beginning my own journey through esports education, I went on to build professional experience across content, community and production within the industry.
Moving into education gave me the opportunity to return to that environment from a new perspective; using both my experience as a former esports student and my professional career to support the next generation entering the industry.
My teaching spans esports business, content creation, media, events and communication, combining academic theory with practical industry experience to help students understand not only what the industry does, but why it works the way it does.
The Three Pillars
Curriculum & Content Development
It is important to design learning materials, sessions and curriculum that connect academic requirements with the realities of esports and digital media.
I draw on my background in content creation to structure information around the audience, purpose and outcome.
How I Teach
Industry first.
I use contemporary industry examples and professional experience to connect academic theory to the realities of working in esports and digital media.
Make it understandable.
Complex ideas are only useful if people can engage with them. I focus on breaking theory and professional practice into accessible explanations without losing the depth behind them.
Learn by doing.
Where appropriate, I use practical briefs, projects and real-world scenarios to give students opportunities to apply what they've learned.
Build independence.
The goal isn't simply to tell students what to do, but to give them the knowledge and confidence to develop their own ideas and professional judgement.

Industry-Informed Education
Bringing experience from both sides of esports education into the classroom is imperative to confident learners.
